Business Development Executive

Grantha Networks Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to support the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and assisting in generating leads. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching potential markets, engaging with prospects, supporting sales activities, and coordinating with internal teams to convert opportunities into business. The role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to contribute to revenue growth under the guidance of the sales and business development team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, quality and pursue new business opportunities in IT services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and requirements for banks, government organizations, and enterprise clients.
  • Develop proposals, presentation and quotations tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and agreements with clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners and vendors.
  • Collaborate with technical, pre-sales, and project teams to ensure solution feasibility and accurate delivery timelines.

Must Have

  • Possess a strong understanding of IT services, including software solutions, cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, and managed services.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Show experience in managing high-level relationships with enterprise clients, specifically within banks and government organizations.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills to finalize contracts, pricing, and agreements.
  • Maintain high professional and ethical standards while adhering strictly to company compliance, policies, and processes.

Nice to have

  • Hold experience in conducting market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Possess knowledge of contributing to go-to-market (GTM) strategies and executing enterprise marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis to prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards.
  • Possess prior experience in managing and writing technical content or formal documentation for enterprise-level bidding and tenders.
  • Have familiarity with modern CRM tools (like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho) to manage client pipelines and track sales performance efficiently.
