Jr. System Administrator

Grantha Networks Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and skilled System Administrator with 1–2 years of experience to manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of all systems while providing technical support to end-users and collaborating with the IT team to implement improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including server, storage and enterprise system.
  • Administer Windows Server (AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO) and Linux environments (RHEL/Ubuntu).
  • Handle virtualization platforms (VMware vCenter, Proxmox VE) including VM provisioning and monitoring
  • Configure and support network infrastructure (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewall, VPN).
  • Perfrom patch management and endpoint security using tools like Endpoint Central.
  • Maintain documentation and generate reports for system health and compliance.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and IT operations planning.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues.

  • Microsoft certified: Windows Server / Azure Administrator
  • RedHat Certified System Administratoe(RHCSA)
  • VMware Certified Professional(VCP)
  • CompTIA Networks+ or Security+ 

Must-Have

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in system/network administration.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Bash preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of IT security best practices.
  • Ability to work in a team and handle critical system responsibily.
